Welcome to Floatel, where unforgettable moments on the water come to life! Our journey began with a dream shared between me, Bryanna Roche, and my father back in 2016. We spent countless days on the Great South Bay growing up, captivated by its beauty and serenity. In those moments, we envisioned a way to share that tranquility with others, leading us to establish Floatel Inc.

In 2018, we found our beloved boat, OFF THE RECORD—a DIY project that captured our hearts. My dad took the helm as captain while I stepped into the role of mate. Together, we were eager to help people celebrate life’s most precious moments on the water. However, in 2020, tragedy struck when I lost my dad unexpectedly. It was a challenging time, and for a while, I couldn’t even bear to look at the boat we had dreamed of restoring.

On the anniversary of his passing, my husband and I revisited OFF THE RECORD. He posed a question that resonated deeply: “What now? Do we do it? Or is it time to let her go?” With the unwavering support of him and the rest of our family, I found the strength to continue the journey my dad and I had started.

After two and a half years and hundreds of hours of dedication, we’ve transformed OFF THE RECORD into a luxurious escape, tailored for personalized experiences on the bay. Every decision we made during the refit was inspired by the desire to create an inviting space for our guests to gather, celebrate, and connect.
